STARWOOD HOTELS & RESORTS DEBUTS FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON BRAND IN IRAQ
Scheduled to Open in 2015, the new Four Points by Sheraton Erbil Hotel will add 250 rooms in Erbil
Erbil, Iraq – April 29, 2012 – Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) has signed an agreement with Ranj Co & Helar Co to open a new-build Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Erbil. Scheduled to debut in 2015, the Four Points by Sheraton Erbil Hotel will mark the entry of the brand in Iraq and reinforces Starwood’s commitment to expansion in the country.

The new Four Points by Sheraton Erbil Hotel will comprise 250 guest rooms and offer extensive dining, conference and leisure facilities. The hotel will also feature all the brand’s signature elements, including the Four Comfort Bed and complimentary Wi-Fi access in public areas which reflect the brand’s promise and insight into the needs of today’s traveller.
Located approximately five minutes from Erbil International Airport, the Four Points by Sheraton Erbil Hotel is situated along the new ring road offering guests easy access to the city and its key attractions such as the historic Citadel and Sami Abdul Rahman Park, the largest green area in the region.
