SWISS launches special winter fares from Dubai to Europe and North America and announces additional capacity to select routes for 2010/11 winter schedules
Swiss International Air Lines launched special winter fares starting from AED1,995 inclusive of taxes in Economy Class onboard its Airbus A330-300 on services between Dubai and Zurich to Europe and North America
Travellers from Dubai get to experience the smooth service of the new aircraft as well as excellent services on board.
The special fares are available for booking and sale until 28th October and valid for travel till 30th March 2011.
SWISS also announced it will add further capacity to selected routes in its winter schedules beginning 21 October 2010 till 27 March 2011. From Zurich, SWISS will be offering additional frequencies to both European and intercontinental desitnations. In Europe, these will include more daily flights to Stockholm, Valencia and Belgrade; and on the long-haul network Bangkok, Delhi and Mumbai will all enjoy new daily service. SWISS’s Geneva-based network will also be expanded with the addition of a new Madrid route and a third daily Barcelona flight.

The A330-300, deployed non-stop daily from Dubai to Zurich, offers an attractive new cabin in all three seating classes. And a further highlight is sure to be the state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system in all three cabin classes.
The Airbus A330-300 sets new comfort benchmarks in all three classes of travel especially more legroom in SWISS Economy. The twinjet also features a state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system that offers an extensive selection of the latest movies and music.
SWISS’s Economy Class guests now also enjoy an enhanced food product on intercontinental flights from Switzerland. Thanks to a collaboration with the country’s “Käseunion”, Appenzell, Gruyère and Emmental cheeses are now served on board. The top cheeses available offer travellers even more Swissness and typical Swiss quality.
In a further innovation, the meals served on SWISS intercontinental services now have a fresh new look, typified by the new breakfast box.
