Here’s what they have to offer:
The Greenhouse Effect: ‘climate change that is good for you’- a daily happy hour from 7-9pm. A tempera-ture discount that reflects the degrees in Celsius inside the tent when you come to pay! So it is on your in-terest to bring more people...the more bodies, the warmer the tent, the higher the discount!
Treehouse Angels: Ladies’ Night, every Tuesday. All ladies are invited to enjoy 2 free drinks (cocktails / wine ) on arrival and then 30% off their total bill all night long (à la carte items only). See and be seen.
La Guinguette by Veuve Clicquot: Friday Brunch moves to the evening for the summer from 6-9pm.: picnic baskets, unlimited à la carte nibbles; cocktails, Champagne. Funky laid back vibe with a chic dress code. 295dhs/395dhs/545dhs (soft/house/Veuve)
The Early Bombay Bird: a value driven menu of Bombay Brasserie classic dishes (think tandoori salmon tikka, chicken Tik-ka Masala and gulab jamun) priced at 150dhs for 3 courses and available every day from 6-8pm. A happy hour is offered alongside this menu with house wine offered at 150dhs per bottle. A great way to experience Taj sig-nature dining! This menu will become the ’Pre-Theatre’ menu come August as we position ourselves in the opera district!
Bombay Bottle Club: ‘a new breed of gentleman’s night’ with a list of premium and boutique whiskies and wines offered at 50% off on Mondays and Tuesday nights. Bombay Brasserie will offer to hold onto bottles for guests to have next time too! Offer is subject to availability and applies to the full bottle price only.
Bombay Brunch: Fridays from 1-4pm. Guests are invited on a culinary journey through India as they indulge in a 7 course tasting menu with fine wine pairing and handcrafted cocktails. This foodie affair is priced at 250dhs for soft drinks and mocktails / 395dhs for fine wine and cocktails / 545 dhs for Veuve Clicquot Cham-pagne. The entertainment is the food and drink!
THE ELOQUENT ELEPHANT
New Menu: Chef Nigel Lobo launches his summer menu variations on 17th July. Must have new dishes include Duck Bao with hoi sin / ‘Smoked haddock Scotch eggs with mustard emulsion / Gorgonzola Churros with truf-fle honey espuma / pulled lamb Benedict. Chef has formulated these menu changes after a recent trip to Eng-land where he visited no less that 20 gastropubs and Michelin start restaurants for inspiration! Watch this space as Chef is in talks with Green Heart organic farm to supply as much of the menu with local produce as possible in the coming months! Eloquent Elephant is fast becoming a foodie paradise!
The Eloquent 30 Somethings: happy hour is offered daily from 3-7pm and on Saturdays from 12-8pm. It features a selection of ‘libations and nibbles’ for 30dhs a piece.
Eloquiz Night: runs on Mondays from 8pm and is hosted by legendary Irish quiz master (and Rat Pack croon-er) Ciaran Fox. First come first served basis, prizes for winners. This quiz has become incredibly popular in recent months so it pays to be early!
Keep Calm and Curry On: is our curry night every Tuesday featuring a selection of homemade ‘elephant curries’ (think lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala and goan prawn curry) with all of the necessary accoutre-ments for 99dhs—this offer is accompanied by a craft beer deal (3 for 99dhs) Please note that no elephants were harmed in the making of these dishes
Moosic & Meat: is our steak night every Wednesday. ‘Feast on Chef Nigel’s meat’ with 4 different cuts of steak—all of which are offered with sides and sauces from 120dhs (250g Tenderloin fillet). Live music with gentle giant Khalil (singer/guitarist). Perfect midweek fun.
The Crunch: craft brunch every Friday from 12:30-4pm. A menu of Eloquent Elephant classic dishes offered à la carte with craft beers, cocktails and Veuve Clicquot. 80s and 90s soundtrack. Start off with a classic smoked salmon and scrambled eggs; build your own burger or indulge in a classic fish and chips for your main and then finish with an Eloquent Sundae. No visit is complete without a Bloody Mary , Espresso Martini and Eloquent Pimm’s.
The Wholly Roast: the holy grail of roasts offered every Friday/Saturday/Sunday for only 99dhs. Roast chicken/beef with all of the trimmings. Chef Nigel Lobo goes to great lengths to ensure this is better than your even mum can make. A big claim, but this is how…... The meat is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, his Yorkshire puddings are made with duck fat, the Bintje potatoes are too roasted in duck fat, sweet potatoes parsnips and celeriac form the roast also grace the plate to give it full colour and depth of flavour, as well as green beans and broccoli, the braised red cabbage recipe is a secret Chef will take to the grave, the gravy is plentiful and made from the juicy stock. The bread sauce and cream of horseradish is also homemade.
Host A Roast: no British weekend is complete without a roast dinner with friends or family. At Eloquent Elephant you can host a roast from AED499 for a party of 4. including a bottle of house wine. (red/white). The full roast will be served to your table just as you would have it back home—family style. 48 hours’ notice required. A supple-ment of AED75 per person will be charged for extra people.
Dine & Dash Lunch Menu: 2 courses for 75dhs (choice of starter/main & main/dessert) available every weekday from 12:30-3:30pm.
Sundowners: from 6-8pm—30 dhs for selected drinks / 150dhs for house wine. With its incredible panorama of Downtown Dubai this is a great place to watch the sun go down! Especially on the terrace come the autumn!
Ladies’ Night ’Naughty but Nice’ every Tuesday: free ‘espressoros’ (Tesoro espresso martinis) and 50% off à l a carte f&b, with entertainment by singer and guitarist Khalil—a Jack Johnson vibe. Tesoro does naughty nicely...
