Solo Bistronomia & Vinobar introduces authentic Italian ‘Genius Loci’ and ‘Solo Aperitivo’ evenings
UAE, March–Solo Bistronomia & Vinobar, is a welcome new home grownaddition to Dubai's thriving culinary scene by partner Chef Corrado Pani. Taking its name from the Italian word for ‘only’, the Italian concept,offering Gastronomic food and Terroir wines in a relaxed atmosphere,has already made its mark since opening in December 2014;recently recognised with a nomination of Best Newcomer for the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2015. Solo’s chic yet rustic décor designed by Italian architect Michele Cucchiara is the perfect locale to relax and enjoy great company from lunchtime till the evening. Located at the opulent Raffles Dubai, the hotspot showcases weekly authentic Italian offerings in the Vinobar, including‘Genius Loci’ every Tuesday and ‘Solo Aperitivo’ every Saturday evening.
The exquisite Vino Bar is situated at the entrance of the restaurant, enrichedwith quirky pieces of Pop Art throughout, industrial style trestle tables and stools with cushioned alcoves to sit back and unwind in.
Every Tuesday from 6pm onwards diners can adore Genius Loci,meaning the ‘Perfect Match’concept featuring fivedelectable cheeses’paired with five selections of Grape beverages advised by Solo’s in-house sommelier.
Every Saturday from 7pm, guests can indulge and mingle amongst friends and loved onesto round off the weekend with the renowned Solo Aperitivo. The Vinobaris filled with vibrant music surroundingguests sipping vintage, regional beverages who are offered a complimentary array of Italian antipasti canapés ranging from chicken liver pate, mixed bruschetta to cheese fondue to delight tastebuds.
Solo Vinobar guests can devour dishes from the food bites of the Vinobar menu, which is divided into five categories - From The Street, From The Kitchen, From Gastro-Counter, From The Oven and From The Bakery. Friends and family can share mouth-watering preparations such as, zucchini blossoms stuffed with fresh lobster, Solo’s signature homemade artichoke ravioli or a selection of delicacies from the interactive gastronomia counter. In addition, grape connoisseurs can venture upstairs to an impressiveGrape Cellar, showcasing a variety of internationally renowned house grape specifically focused on Solo’s Italian heritage.
With the fusion of relaxed bistro ambience and the gastronomical haute cuisine, Solo brings people together for a truly Italian culinary experience.
