Turkish Airlines annual World Golf Cup tees off in Doha
• One day amateur series championship at Doha Golf Club being held in 35 countries
· Doha’s top two teams to win place in Grand Final in Turkey, VIP tickets to watch 2014 Turkish Airlines Open pro-am, and 7 night all inclusive stay
Doha, Qatar; March 30, 2014 Turkish Airlines, Europe’s Best Airline, will be touching down at Doha Golf Club, Qatar, on April 1st for the next 2014 amateur series qualifier of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup where the winner has a chance of securing one of amateur golfs’ most admirable prizes; Teeing up with some of the worlds’ greatest golfers.
There will be 50 qualifiers for the global event, which enjoyed great acclaim in its inaugural edition last year, will feature 80 players, all personally-invited guests of Turkish Airlines. The top two from the individual stableford competition will progress to the Grand Final in Antalya, Turkey, this November; while there will also be separate nearest-the-pin prizes for men and women.

Every player taking part in the qualifier will be entered into a free prize draw, with the chosen scorecard winning two business class flights and a seven-night stay at the five-star Maxx Royal Hotel in Antalya.
Doha is one of many exotic destinations that will accommodate The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Amateur Series, other hosting countries include Dubai, Hong Kong, South Africa, Great Britain, South Korea, Japan, China, Spain, the United States, Portugal, Italy, France, Greece, Argentina, Brazil, Sweden, Jakarta and Turkey.
The winners of the Grand Final will play in the 2014 Turkish Airlines Open pro-am, while all finalists are to enjoy a seven-night stay in an all-inclusive hotel, two rounds of golf and VIP passes to the Turkish Airlines Open, the $7,000,000 European Tour event, from Thursday to Sunday.
Turkish Airlines, which was recently voted Europe’s best airline* for the third consecutive year, launched the World Golf Cup in 2013. It featured 12 qualifying events and was won by China’s Han Liang. His prize for victory was partnering world number one and 14-time major champion Tiger Woods in the Turkish Airlines Open pro-am.
