At a press conference held prior to the gala, Mr. Engin commented on the new banner, saying: “Our previous banner ‘Globally Yours’ substantially increased international awareness of our services and efforts by creating an image that reflected the international status of Turkish Airlines and successfully positioned the airline as a leading player within the global aviation community, a position that is recognzed by a number of prestigious awards. Now, the time has come to adopt a new brand identity that embodies this impressive progress and highlights our vision into the future.”
With the launch of the new banner, Turkish Airlines offers the world’s most comprehensive network and aims to bring Saudi passengers a unique travel experience with its expanded fleet, using its Istanbul hub to act as a one-stop for connections between virtually any two cities on earth.
Speaking later at the gala event, Mr. Engin emphasized that Turkish Airlines has an ambitious plan to expand its fleet and operate at a higher frequency in the Kingdom in order to address the growing demand of Saudi travelers for its services.
“Currently we have 66 operations a week from Saudi Arabia and 14 flights between Istanbul and Riyadh. We are committed to considerably increasing this figure to address our Saudi passengers’ needs and expectations.”
