Visit Ras Al Khaimah celebrates National Day with an exciting Facebook photography competition
One lucky winner will enjoy a two-night getaway in Ras Al Khaimah

(Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – 18 November 2013): Coinciding with the National Day celebrations and commemorating the 42nd anniversary of the UAE’s independence, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (TDA) has launched a Facebook photography competition, offering its Facebook fans the opportunity to win a getaway in the ‘rising emirate’.
Other prizes include a complimentary day cruise for two aboard the Prince of the Sea luxurious yacht and a complimentary entry to Ice Land waterpark for two.
To enter the competition, fans are invited to take a picture of themselves with the UAE flag and upload it to the competition application on the Visit Ras Al Khaimah Facebook page via their mobile handsets, PCs or upload them via Instagram.
Fans themselves will be the judges, as every “like” counts; and one lucky fan, with the highest number of likes on the Visit Ras Al Khaimah Facebook page at the end of the competition, will win a two-night bed and breakfast stay for two at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa. Nestled in a spectacular private bay and overlooking the shimmering waters of the Arabian Gulf, Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa is one of the emirate’s top five-star resorts and provides an oasis of relaxation.
The second prize winner will enjoy a complimentary day cruise for two persons on the luxurious Prince of the Sea 100 foot sailing yacht, with swimming, snorkelling, the opportunity to spot one of the rare green turtles at Al Marjan Island, and a delicious seafood barbeque. The third prize winner will receive a complimentary entry to Ice Land waterpark for two persons, one of the most iconic tourist attractions in Ras Al Khaimah, which boasts one of the world’s largest manmade waterfalls and one of the world’s longest waterslides.
Facebook users have until December 15th to upload their photos to the Visit Ras Al Khaimah Facebook page for a chance to win an unforgettable experience in Ras Al Khaimah. Prizes are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the competition.
