Dan Benzaquen brings guest experience expertise to role as new Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba General Manager
Amman, Jordan – Dan Benzaquen has been appointed General Manager of the five-star Mövenpick Tala Bay, an upscale family-friendly resort located on the shores of the Red Sea.
A seasoned hotelier with more than 13 years of industry experience, Benzaquen brings his enthusiasm for re-defining the guest experience to his new role.
“Hospitality is my passion,” said Benzaquen “and having worked my way through the industry ranks from a young age, I have developed a good grasp of what sets a good hotel apart from the rest – a unique guest experience and great customer service.
“I always put myself in our guests’ shoes, asking myself the question, ‘Will this make them happy?’ It’s important to think like a guest when it comes to introducing new activities and services.”

Benzaquen’s first job was as Guest Services Manager at Sheraton Dongguan Hotel, China, and from there he climbed the career ladder in roles with a number of leading brands in countries including the UAE, Thailand and Vietnam.
The French national has worked for Six Senses Hotels Resorts & Spas and the Accor Group’s Pullman brand in Asia, and also enjoyed stints with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in the UAE, as Front Office Manager at Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai and as Hotel Operations Manager at Mövenpick Hotel Deira.
Before joining Mövenpick Tala Bay, Benzaquen was Executive Assistant Manager at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea.
