GRAND HYATT DUBAI APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING
Malek Safa brings more than 14 years of experience to his new role
DUBAI, May 22nd, 2016 – Grand Hyatt Dubai has appointed Malek Safa as Director of Sales and Marketing (DoSM). Malek has previously held several positions within Hyatt Hotels Corporations, the most recent one being DoSM of Hyatt Regency Dubai.
Malek started his career in hospitality in 2002, when he joined Grand Hyatt Dubai’s sales team. Four years later, Malek was named Director of Catering, and in 2007, he became the property’s Director of Convention Sales. In 2010, Malek was transferred to Hyatt Regency Toronto, Canada, and he came back to Dubai in 2014 to join the Events team of Hyatt Regency Dubai as Director of Events.

I am honored to be again part of its prestigious journey”, said Malek. In his role, Malek will be accountable for leading the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenues.
