Horst Walther-Jones appointed General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach Dubai
German national Horst Walther-Jones has been appointed General Manager of the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach Dubai, announced Andreas Mattmüller, Chief Operating Officer of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Middle East & Asia.
Horst was previously General Manager of the Mövenpick Resort
Al Nawras in Saudi Arabia. He has spent 11 years working in the Middle East in major cities such as Dubai and Jeddah and is showing a commitment to the Arabian Gulf by taking up a new managerial position in the region.
Over his 30 years in the hospitality industry, Horst has worked for international hotel companies such as Renaissance, Hyatt and Jumeirah Group. His career has included key leadership roles in prestigious hotels throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
Horst describes himself as a hotelier who is fiercely dedicated to quality, consistency and total guest satisfaction. "I'm looking forward to work with my dynamic team in taking the hotel to a new level of service”.
His experience in the region was a key part of his selection to lead the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach. “Our goal now is to drive and implement effective strategies to further attract international travellers to the hotel. In addition we will be focusing in creating attractive and exciting dining experiences for our guests and Dubai residents” he added.
