Wolter’s career graph is decorated with the names of several other prestigious global hospitality brands including Four Seasons, Raffles, Shangri-La, Rotana, Hilton, Movenpick and Forte Grande/ Le Meridien, working in various European, American, African, Middle Eastern and Asian destinations such as his native Germany, Cyprus, the West Indies, South Africa, Marrakesh, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Cambodia among others.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Hotel Management School of Bavaria in Germany and numerous industry qualifications including a Masters Diploma (Executive Chef), Yield and Revenue Management Certification from The Leading Hotels of the World, and a PDP Marketing and Operations Course from Cornell University amongst others, Wolters extensive management acumen and skill in firming up operational procedures are expected to be put to good use in his new role. Wolters’ appointment reflects Kempinski Hotel Ajman’s commitment to increasing the property’s competitiveness within the UAE hospitality scene as one of the country’s leading resort properties.
“We are very excited to have Burkhard join our existing team at Kempinski Hotel Ajman. His broad experience and depth of knowledge on the operational requirements of running a highly successful hotel will serve him well in managing and leading a multinational team of professionals. We wish him all the best in working towards the achievement of Kempinski Hotel Ajman’s operational goals,” says Ulrich Eckhardt, President Middle East & Africa, Kempinski Hotels.
Wolter speaks four languages – German, English, French and basic Spanish, and moves to the UAE with his wife. His international career has given him the opportunity to indulge his natural love for exploring new cultures and learning new languages.
