Chef Darren Andow has been recently appointed as the new Executive Chef of Le Gray, Beirut.
With over 20 years experience in the Middle East, Asia and Europe, Chef Andow has a rich international hospitality background with a particular passion for Lebanon and its culinary wealth of flavours, succulent dishes and cultural diversity.
Hailing from Britain, he completed his studies in England then travelled to Greece and Cyprus, working his way up and gaining valuable experience that lead him to the Yas Island Rotana, the Centro Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the Amwaj Rotana in Dubai, the Langham Palace Hotel in China and lately the ART Rotana in Bahrain.
Chef Andow shares the CampbellGray Hotels vision to celebrate food as it brings together people and traditions making use of the finest of sustainable produce.
Le Gray is CampbellGray Hotels’s first hotel in the Middle East and opened to huge acclaim in 2009. Located in the heart of Beirut on Martyrs’ Square, it showcases 87 stylish rooms and suites artistically designed in collaboration with Mary Fox Linton.
