Heiner Werdeling joins top Abu Dhabi hotel
27 June 2011- The Yas Hotel today announced the appointment of Heiner Werdeling as General Manager. Werdeling joins the iconic, five star property in Abu Dhabi after 30 years in the hotel industry.
Werdeling has worked in leadership positions across 13 countries, including seven years in the Middle East with the last five spent in Abu Dhabi. He has held General Manager and Senior Executive roles at the Hayman Island Resort in Australia, Sheraton Imperial Luxury Collection in Kuala Lumpur and the InterContinental in Abu Dhabi. In Abu Dhabi since 2006, Werdeling most recently set up and managed his own hotel consultancy company.
Werdeling has an excellent track record of developing people and a sharp attention to detail. Highly creative, he looks forward to bringing his knowledge of operations to The Yas Hotel, strengthening its reputation for excellent service, design and innovative guest experience. On his new role, Werdeling commented:

Heiner Werdeling was born in Germany and is married to Australian born Jackie who also works within the hospitality industry.
