I was wondering over my cup of ???? (tea latte), what would the world think of Food Waste?
I called up my banker friend and asked. No wonder he told me about the biscuit he left from eating because it became soggy. I asked him if that's all he thinks about food waste. The only thing he could say more was... things like these when I don't eat them are a waste, we shouldn't waste food. I shrugged. Most of us dont understand the story of food waste goes much deeper.
You may waste a piece of broccoli on your plate but that is not the only thing you wasted! Every head of broccoli used some butter, garlic, spices, etc - which all went waste... around 20L of water wasted in producing the broccoli... so all that wastes along with a head of broccoli is much more...
