Chef de Cuisine Christy Xavier Joins Certo at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City
Chef Christy will oversee junior kitchen team members and ensure the highest standards are adhered to in food preparation at Certo.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City, is pleased to welcome Christy Xavier to the role of Chef de Cuisine at Certo, the modern Italian restaurant.
Christy began his career in his native India before coming to Dubai in 2015. His first role was at Raffles Dubai, and he progressed to Mayta Peruvian restaurant in DIFC, where he spent just over a year. In May 2017, Christy joined the prestigious Bussola at Westin Mina Seyahi and his calm and organised demeanor led to several promotions in the next few years. He was an integral part of the teams who looked after Bussola at Dubai Expo 2020 and DP World Tour Championship 2020. He has displayed imaginative culinary skills and built strong relationships within the team.
Bringing almost five years’ experience from Bussola, Christy moves to Certo, Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City. As Chef de Cuisine, Christy will oversee junior kitchen team members and ensure the highest standards are adhered to in food preparation at Certo. His creative menu input will ensure the Italian restaurant stays at the forefront of dining in Media City, as it has done for many years. A talented mentor, his guidance will prove exemplary to junior chefs within the team, and uplift the brand from within.
Christy observes, “Moving to Certo is a fantastic new challenge for me, and I’m looking forward to joining such a renowned name in dining in Dubai Media City,” he adds, “I’m excited to bring the skills I’ve learned in different kitchens to Certo, and display the passion that I have for Italian dishes and fresh ingredients.
