Rosewood Abu Dhabi appoints Remus Palimaru as the new Managing Director
Palimaru will usher the iconic property into its next phase of strengthening its positioning and future growth
Abu Dhabi, UAE – November 30, 2022 – Passionate hotelier, Remus Palimaru joins Rosewood Abu Dhabi as its new Managing Director. With over two decades of global hospitality experience across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, Palimaru brings a wealth of experience and an outstanding knowledge after managing teams at some of the world’s leading and most luxurious hotel brands.
Prior to joining Rosewood Abu Dhabi, Palimaru was the Hotel Manager of Rosewood London since 2017, where he aligned the hotel’s strategy to achieve outstanding performance by exceeding its budgeted profits for that year. Moreover, Palimaru was selected to support Rosewood Bermuda in 2019 as the Interim Managing Director.
Palimaru has a proven track record in inspiring and leading change to impact performance as well as overseeing several lavishing global hotel properties through their brand repositioning while maintaining their leading market statuses. He also took part of nine luxury hotel openings around the globe.

Palimaru was born in Romania and brought up in Denmark, studied at Florida State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. A highly respected, hands-on individual who will lead the hotel through its next phase of growth, focusing on service excellence and relationship hospitality. He is fluent in Romanian, Danish and English, and can converse in German and Japanese.
