My name is Pikolomzi Mkosana; I have completed my studies at the South African Chef Association. I am a creative, enthusiastic, hardworking chef with a passion for food and experience in various kitchens professionally. I have always wanted to broaden my knowledge about food. My love for cooking motivated me to start my own catering company, “The legend catering”. I used to cater for government departments, I catered in private functions like weddings and birthdays and I was also a private chef. I also had a few friends hire me to cater for them when they won tenders for catering jobs I have worked in Omni Mount in Washington in 2013 and Heartland heritage hotel in New Zealand in 2016, this experience has helped me to expand my knowledge about food and help me learn new responsibilities as a chef. I feel these opportunities have allowed me to express my culinary expertise and valuable, gained experience through a larger array of tasks. I believe that some of the most amazing dishes that I am yet to cook are waiting for me in your kitchen. I am great at following orders and working as part of a team, but can also step up to the plate I’m able to work under pressure. I believe my fine culinary expertise, positive outlook and absolute passion for this industry always puts me in an advantage in any kitchen.
