Job Description For Housekeeping Coordinator

Job Description:

Handles all requests (internal, external and guest) efficiently.
Reports for duty on time in proper uniform and in proper grooming.
Responsible for the safekeeping, recording, and collecting of all keys and pagers held in the housekeeping office.
Responsible for sorting/filling all daily activity reports in the housekeeping office.
Answers phone calls promptly, in a proper telephone standard manner.
Records all incoming calls, ensures all messages or information are disseminated and followed up accordingly.
Handles all issues pertaining to Lost & Found - Receiving, recording, storage, claiming and clearing.
Updates and maintains all housekeeping files.
Updates and print Opera system for the room discrepancy report by morning (1030hr) and afternoon (1630hr
Arranges to babysit for guests.
Prepares Attendance Sheet for payroll before the 15th of the month and submit to Accounts Department.
Keeps and maintains the cleanliness and tidiness of the housekeeping office.
Clears all outdated reports in the office on a monthly basis based on the hotel standard for record keeping.
Communicates with other departments to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
Ensures adequate stock of all forms used in housekeeping.
Checks and maintains the first aid items in the housekeeping.
Handles ‘DND’ rooms. Ensures to call the guest by 15:00 hr and ask for service.
Checks office supplies and orders if necessary.
To perform any other duties that may be assigned to them.
