Job Summary:
The Commis III is responsible for assisting in the preparation and basic cooking of food items, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and basic cooking of dishes as directed by senior chefs.
Ensure food items are stored, prepared, and served according to hotel standards.
Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety guidelines (HACCP).
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Support with mise-en-place (food preparation) for daily operations.
Assist in receiving and checking deliveries of ingredients.
Practice portion control and reduce wastage.
Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
