Job Description For Housekeeping Supervisor
TIME Ruby Hotel Apartments is currently looking for energetic and passionate candidates for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate, preferably with previous experience in a similar role in reputed hospitality organizations and the ability to fulfill the following core responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares housekeeping attendants job assignments.
- Issues keys and supplies to room attendants and house attendants.
- Takes note of VIPs, Do Not Disturb, sleep out, double-lock rooms and takes appropriate action.
- Attends daily meetings and receives special instructions.
- Receives check-outs before reporting them as ready for sale.
- Receives special requests from guests and carries them out.
- Attends to guest complaints.
- Inspects areas cleaned using checklist to see that cleaning is adequate, supplies in room are as per standard, and need for immediate repairs are reported.
- Makes trouble report for room or item in need of repair and follows-up to ensure work is completed satisfactorily.
- Fills out report and hands over found articles to the lost and found department.
- Supervises cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and stairwells.
- Trains and assists room attendants and advises Executive Housekeeper if performance is not satisfactory.
- Supervises special cleaning of rooms.
- Checks and orders supplies for designated floors.
- Assists with inventory.
- Ensures that all housekeeping machines and equipment are properly handled and maintained.
- Evening Housekeeping supervisor supervises turn down service.
- To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
- To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
- To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
- To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
- To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
- To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
- To pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
- To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.
- To assist the Duty Manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.
- To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
- To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
Candidate should preferably have previous experience in a similar role with reputed hospitality organizations.
