Situated on the East Crescent of the Palm and connected to a private beach, the hotel will feature 258 rooms, 67 suites, six F&B venues, a kids’ club, sprawling banquet & meeting spaces and Taj’s signature Jiva Spa. Keeping sustainability and the incomparable Tajness at the core of its offering, the hotel is poised to create exotic experiences for all its guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist and co-ordinate with Director of Finance in preparation of  operationaland capital budget of the hotel
• To assist Director of Finance to monitor and track pre-opening budget against the actual expenses
• To co-ordinate with Director of Finance for the preparation of monthly forecasts and projections
• To enforce documentation and establish adequate controls for all revenues, expenses 
• To assist Director of Finance in preparing Cash Flow budgets and monthly Revenue and Expenditure Forecasts.
• To co-ordinate for the implementation of back office accounting systems
• To assist Director of Finance in monthly Financial Reporting Pack (Including PNL and Balance Sheet, Balance sheet schedules, Bank Reconciliations
• Monthly payroll papers submitted by HR will be verified before salary is processed. After all the documents are verified and found satisfy the supporting documents, payroll file will be processed. Once the payroll is processed the month closing will be done by finance immediately once the payroll process is completed for the month
• Monitor & supervise the daily and month end functions of the following finance functions:

1.  Cost Controller’s functions 
2.  Income Auditor’s functions

• To fulfil the requirements of internal and statutory auditors and co-ordinate for finalization of accounts.
• To ensure taxes are reconciled on monthly basis before the monthly tax returns are filed and taxes are remitted
• To verify and execute the monthly payroll process
• To analyse the credit reports and monitor the credit functions to ensure that there is no leakage of control measures and no loss of income
• Monitor and supervise the AR adjustments, commissions and collection postings are done as per policy 
• To Monitor and ensure that the F&B consumptions are posted on daily basis 
• To assist Director of Finance for accurate, timely financial and operating information and financial analysis, interpretations and projections to management as and when required
• To assist Director of Finance to ensure that expenses incurred within the constraint of the Annual Budget and approved Capital Expenditures
• To monitor and have full control over General Ledger on daily basis to ensure the expenses are parked in the respective account codes and in line with the budget codes
• Preparation of Trial Balance Schedules on monthly basis
• To ensure the reconciled bank balances are tallied with the control account in the trial balance on monthly basis
• To ensure all control accounts are reconciled, nullified and closed with nil balance on monthly basis
• To perform periodic TPAM audits across all the departments in the resort to ensure that all the operational processes and policies are followed as per TPAM guidelines without any deviations.
• To review periodically all the documents maintained by the departments across the resort to ensure that the records are maintained as per TPAM guidelines 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CA Inter preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in hotel finance or hospitality accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and hospitality finance practices.
• Familiarity with PMS and hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera, Sun, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
