Job Description For Waiter & Waitress

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing Genuine hospitality and exceeding guests expectations.
• Organizing/Setting up the restaurant tables and area to welcome the guest.           
• Satisfying patron requests in a timely manner                      
• Serving customers at the restaurant
• Ensure corridor safety by handling all food in the proper manner.
• To be knowledgeable on the menu and its recipe of the restaurant 
• Taking guest orders and recommending the right choices and specials of the day
• Checking the presentation at pantry and serving orders for customers
• Assessing customer preferences and upsell & cross sell recommendations.
• Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons           
• Record guest orders accurately into the register system and properly communicate to the kitchen.
• To clean and maintain prompt cleanliness of the restaurant at all times on floors, walls, ceiling, furniture, fittings and equipment.
• To maintain a proper and regular inventory at all-time proactively   
• Cleaning the tables, chairs, bar and work area to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Always following hygiene and safety rules of the restaurant
• Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers in the restaurant satisfied at all times.                                      
• Recommend new menus items and communicate any guest feedback to the manager/supervisor.                          
• Supporting the team members whenever needed, in the Bar area and service area.
• Supporting and assisting the team away from the job role to create a memorable guest experience by servicing and clearing tables during rush hours.
• Complying with all food and beverage regulations
• To maintain equipment functioning and report its efficiency faults and repairs immediately.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
• To be able to perform any additional scope of duties and task if requested by the management.
