Job Description For AV Operator - Sound for Azamara

Position Description:

We are looking for AUDIO VIDEO OPERATOR ( sound ) for AZAMARA cruise ships.
Embarkation is ASAP
Contract 4 months +/-1
Salary in USD/per month worked.

This position sets, strikes, operates, or otherwise works with relative Audio-Visual (A/V) or Stage equipment as instructed by the corporate office and the Audio-Visual Manager in accordance with the specific disciplines assigned. The Audio-Visual Technician is responsible for the use/operation, movement, and storage of all audio-visual equipment as delegated/assigned by the corporate office and Audio-Visual Manager for performances by entertainers, as well as all programmed activities by the entertainment staff. Due to the size of the A/V Department on Azamara Club Cruises, this position may also be the A/V Manager. If so, they will be responsible for the below duties in conjunction with those of the A/V Manager.

Education:

- Certificated sound engineer or sound technician.
or
- Experience working in related field.
Experience required:

- Audio mixing for live shows such as concerts, theater plays or musical theater.
-Has operated audio mixers for Front Of the House PA system and Monitors.
-Knowledge or experience with digital and analog audio mixers. (Yamaha, Mackie, Presonus, Allen & Heath etc).
-Familiar with stage set up and tear down.
-Has performed as lighting desk programmer and operator.

Additional knowledge preferred:

- Mentions that has worked with mixers Yamaha QL5, 01v96i, TF1.
- Knows software Dante, Qlab and Ableton.
- Has experience working as lighting operator with GrandMA and Hog4 desks.
