Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Outside Catering Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will support the Outside Catering Manager in overseeing and coordinating off-site catering operations, ensuring exceptional service and culinary experiences for our clients.

• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing off-site catering events of various sizes and types
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and create customized catering packages
• Coordinate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus and ensure food quality standards are met
• Manage and train catering staff, including servers, bartenders, and on-site chefs
• Oversee equipment inventory, maintenance, and logistics for off-site events
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene
• Assist in preparing and managing event budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability
• Handle client communications and resolve any issues that arise during events
• Contribute to marketing efforts to promote the catering services and attract new clients
• Analyze post-event feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in outside catering or event management
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of event planning, menu development, and food presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial management for catering operations
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in catering management software and MS Office Suite
• Valid Food Safety Certification
• Knowledge of UAE food safety regulations and cultural dietary requirements
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
