Job Description
As the Bell Desk & Valet Supervisor, you will lead by example in delivering warm, personalized, and anticipatory service to guests upon arrival and departure. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the bell desk, valet, and door staff to ensure efficiency, guest satisfaction, and adherence to Fairmont's luxury service standards.
Position Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $26.87/hour
Start Date: July 2025
Job Duties Include:
- Ensure seamless arrival and departure experiences for guests, including luggage assistance and valet parking.
- Coordinate and monitor shuttle schedules and routes to local areas.
- Handle guest concerns with empathy and prompt resolution.
- Ensure proper logging of vehicle keys and accurate valet ticketing procedures.
- Seeks feedback and recommendation on guest satisfaction and employee experience.
- Develops and oversees the implementation of all training needs of the department.
- Maintain clear and effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Monitor team performance, manage shift coverage, and ensure staff adhere to grooming and service standards.
- Train, coach, and mentor colleagues; provide performance feedback
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a luxury hotel environment required.
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Valid Class 4 drivers licence, with clear driving record required.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
