What you will be doing:
Supervising food preparation to ensure consistency at all times.
Ensuring food is prepared following recipes, food hygiene, and allergen control protocols.
Effectively communicating with the breakfast team to facilitate smooth service.
Conducting food safety checks and maintaining documentation in accordance with regulations.
Assisting with stock control and communicating ingredient needs for replenishment.
Adhering to food hygiene regulations and enforcing procedures to meet food regulation standards and HACCP guidelines.
Ensuring compliance with the company's operating standards in all activities.
Maintaining cleanliness according to legal, health, and safety requirements.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time 10-16 hours per week.
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Sunday availability, mainly weekend.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Ability to work effectively within a team environment to ensure smooth breakfast service operations.
Strong focus on maintaining preparation levels and following recipes accurately to ensure consistency in breakfast quality.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with the breakfast team, ensuring seamless coordination during service.
Understanding of food hygiene and allergen control requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high standards of food safety.
Capacity to conduct food safety checks, maintain documentation, and assist with stock control to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and willingness to assist with additional duties as required.
Proactive approach to identifying ingredient needs, communicating with the team, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold legal, health, and safety standards.
Enthusiasm for providing excellent guest experiences and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
