Job Description
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate all projects (e.g. renovations, installations, repairs etc) and ensure department priorities are met and completed.
- Monitor and record utility consumption and assist the Assistant Chief Engineer to maintain efficiency.
- Daily coordination of the technical team to work in his area of responsibility.
- You will be responsible for maintain the workshop, tools and plant rooms.
- You will monitor inventory of shelf stock and equipment and contribute to the development of the department maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
- You will monitor the Hotel's Preventative maintenance program
- You will synchronize the highest standards of general maintenance and possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
- You will manage and coordinate outside contractors within established guidelines
- You will ensure the hotel complies with all Government regulations pertaining to building code requirements, health, fire and life safety program monitoring energy management program to ensure cost effective use of utilities and reduce energy consumption
- You will maintain close and effective working relationship with all other Departments, and external contractors
- You will ensure disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs).
