Job Description
Reporting to the Environment Department within the Group's Sustainability Division, your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the annual climate reporting in the context of the CSRD, specifically drafting the ESRS-E1 chapter with all indicators published by Accor, notably consolidating the carbon footprint of all Group entities (Hotels, Headquarters, and other activities).
- Leading the network of Sustainability Leaders across various business units, notably by sharing expertise and rolling out projects to support the regions and brands in implementing their climate strategies (operational guides, change management strategies, training tools, regular follow-up meetings).
- Managing the carbon team composed of two people responsible for producing the carbon footprint of the Group's hotel operations.
- Driving projects related to the Group's climate strategy, including identifying key stakeholders, defining major project milestones, setting up governance, and outlining objectives and resources to be implemented.
- Collaborating constructively and proactively with other teams within the Group's Sustainability Division (Marketing & Communications, Performance) and with other Group Departments (Procurement, Marketing, Design & Technical Services, Digital & Business Factory, Global Sales, among others).
Qualifications
With a Master's degree (business school, political science, or engineering), you speak fluent English and have:
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience, including time spent in a consulting firm specialized in climate-related topics;
- Strong expertise in energy-climate issues and full proficiency with the GHG Protocol and SBTi frameworks;
- Knowledge of the building sector, particularly regarding energy-related challenges;
- Proven change management skills and the ability to convince and engage stakeholders;
- Initial experience in rolling out projects internationally;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong active listening abilities;
- The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and in a pedagogical manner;
- Good stress management and a pragmatic approach to finding and implementing solutions.
