Job Description
Our Colleague Services team is looking for a Coordinator who's passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our on-site community. In this role, you'll help foster a sense of connection and care through thoughtful service, strong organization, and a commitment to making our colleagues feel at home. Responsibilities
- Manage all Housing/Activity telephone and counter inquiries including but not limited to: guest passes, parking passes, Lifestyles cards, maintenance concerns, roommate issues, Activity registration. Acting as staff concierge.
- Update and maintain daily cleaning standards for units and buildings
- Co-ordinate the tracking, delivery and or removal all furniture inventory and appliances
- Participate in annual/semi-annual unit inspections, advising on any safety, maintenance or FFE updates
- Participate in administrative tasks related to scheduling and assignment of daily tasks
- Promotes safe working practices and proper use of PPE
- Key inventory, issuing and collection and cost recovery
- Manage all inventories (cleaning, sale items, stationary, etc.)
- Room inspection tracking, reporting and filing
- Maintenance request reporting, tracking and follow-up
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues across hotel departments
- Record and post all departmental meeting minutes
- Assist in managing the waitlist and room assignment process
- Conduct audits of Housing records and Rent Manager
- Manage and maintain accuracy of the arrival/departure process
- Verbal and written communication with tenants and hotel colleagues
- Assist with other duties of the department as required
Qualifications
- Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration preferred
- Possess a strong desire and talent to teach, coach and inspire a team of diverse employees
- Previous experience in a training or supervisory role
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications required
- Must be able to prioritize work load
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized, with good time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Previous customer service, administration and housekeeping experience
- Possess a valid Alberta driver's license, with a driver's abstract free of any serious demerit points
- Basic understanding of property maintenance
Physical Aspects of Position: - Occasional physically demanding duties in residence and outdoors - encompassing standing, walking, bending & lifting (25kg)
