Part of the Accor portfolio, The Clarence Hotel Sydney, soon to be part of the Handwritten Collection, has recently opened with a buzz in its central Sydney CBD location near Wynyard, Pitt st Mall, Barangaroo and Darling Harbour.
Clarence is in the funky part of town, where the buildings operate large business deals by day, and the nightlife is a plethora of hidden bars and lane-ways of entertainment. The Clarence Hotel Sydney features 50 hotel rooms, gym, and soon to come a Restaurant and a Bar once all stages are complete.

Job Description
Step into the night's spotlight as a Night Auditor, where your attention to detail and financial acumen will shine. As the guardian of financial integrity during the quiet hours, you'll ensure accurate accounting, meticulous record-keeping, and a seamless transition between business days, contributing to the success of our establishment.
- Conduct end-of-day financial audits, including reconciling accounts, verifying transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Facilitate the check-in and check-out processes during overnight hours, ensuring accuracy in-room charges, payments, and guest information.
- Generate and distribute daily reports summarizing financial transactions, room occupancy, and other relevant information for management review.
- Assist guests during overnight hours, addressing inquiries, handling reservations, and ensuring a positive experience for late-night arrivals or early departures.
- Monitor security and safety systems, address any issues or concerns that may arise during the night, and report incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Knowledge of Robotics system Ariel is an advantage
- Perform other duties as required during the shift as given by you Manager
Qualifications
- It's all about attitude for us, someone who enjoys being helpful to others and isn't easily flustered - there's a smaller team working at night so confidence and knowing how to work things out by yourself are key
- Previous hotel (or similar) experience is great, but it's not a must-have for us - if you're eager to learn we can teach you what you need to know
- You're looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here
- Passion for hospitality - you're all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues
