Astore is collaborating with 3,500 suppliers offering products and services necessary to ensure the proper functioning of all hospitality businesses. With a team of 250 experts serving 8,500 customers in 30 countries, Astore negotiates some of the best prices and conditions on the market. Astore is a fast-growing and innovative department operating in an increasingly competitive environment.
Accor including Procurement Department is now divided in two parts:
- The PME (Premium Medium and Economy) Division which is divided in 4 hubs: Europe & North Africa, MEAPAC, Americas and Greater China
- The L&L (Luxury & Lifestyle) Division divided by brand.
Procurement Corporate organization has several poles: Hotel Procurement team (international category managers who negotiate the best deals for Astore customers), HQ Procurement team (buyers optimizing HQs spend), Procurement Lab (Shared Center, Digital...) and Strategy, Sustainability, Finance & Transformation team.
ABOUT THE TRANSFORMATION TEAM The team is part of the Strategy, Sustainability & Finance team and is responsible of:
- Improving and optimizing what is called the remuneration process (detailed below)
- Launching projects with key stakeholders to harmonize and optimize processes
ABOUT THE REMUNERATION PROCESS Through its e-procurement platform, Accor Procurement provides suppliers with sourcing services and enhanced visibility.
In exchange, suppliers remunerate Accor Procurement based on a predefined remuneration structure. Hotels directly order and pay suppliers for products and services delivered.
Accor Procurement redistributes part of the remuneration received from suppliers to hotels as incentives to use the Accor GPO. The remuneration process is the
management of these cash flows.
Job Description
Within Accor Group Procurement Office (GPO) & reporting to our
transformation team, you will work on
process improvement activities, including but not limited to
gaining efficiencies and streamlining remuneration processes focusing on 4 main pillars:
- Simplify(identify time-consuming actions & streamline processes)
- Automate(repetitive tasks, complex computations & monitoring)
- Harmonize(existing processes for consistency & compliance)
- Document(standard procedures & workflows)
Your main missions will be:
Transformation- Conduct impactanalyses, assess change readiness, & identify key improvements
- Facilitateworkshops to design solutions
- Manage the implementationof new processes / tools
- Create & deliver trainingplan/materialsto improve process & tool usage
- Documentnew processes / tool usage
PMO- Coordinate2 strategic projects with digital tools launched in 2024 for cross-functional teams
- Update, monitor, & communicate projectprogress through persuasive Powerpoints
- Create & manage a feedbackloop
- Define & measure successmetrics
Tool support- Assesstool usage & develop recommendationsfor existing/new tools
- Track & report tool issues
- Prioritize toolevolutionsneeds
- Validate newproductfeatures& managementrules
