What you will be doing:- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, as well as food preparation work areas as required
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations and pot scrubbing station
- Must be capable of working effectively both unsupervised and within a team environment
- Weekly deep clean of the back of the house
- Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
- Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:- Organized and a great team player
- Hotel and restaurant work experience an asset
- Must be able to work varying shifts
- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
- Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Understand WHMIS
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene

Your team and working environment:A steward is the most important position in Culinary. They support all the teams in the hotel in order to properly serve our guests.
