Grand Hyatt San Francisco is seeking a passionate, service-driven Assistant Operations Manager - Food & Beverage to join our leadership team. This role will support and lead daily F&B operations across multiple outlets, ensuring seamless service, team engagement, and exceptional guest experiences aligned with the Grand Hyatt brand.

As a dynamic leader, you will collaborate with department heads, foster an inclusive and motivating environment, and be a hands-on presence in the front and back of house. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of hotel F&B outlets (including restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and banquets)
• Support the F&B management team in achieving departmental goals related to guest satisfaction, colleague engagement, and financial performance
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service in alignment with Hyatt service standards
• Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and evaluating team members
• Collaborate with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure consistency in food quality and service execution
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control processes
• Monitor cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health department regulations
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and urgency, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and departmental planning
• Support banquet operations and event execution as needed

• Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
• Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
• Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proven experience with POS systems and Microsoft Suite
