Description
1. Assist the General Manager to complete all work related to revenue and marketing of the hotel, completing work assigned by the General Manager.
2. Responsible for the management of Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Marketing Communications.
3. Lead the hotel business team to achieve relevant key indicators, including but not limited to managing the hotel's continued profitability, ensuring the hotel's revenue and profit, and guest satisfaction to meet or exceed the standard requirements.
4. Develop the hotel's annual / quarterly / monthly budget forecast and work plans, implementing them effectively.
5. Participate in developing and implementing hotel and departmental policies and regulations.
6. Develop marketing strategies and promotion plans to adjust to the market situation in real time.
7. Supervise and drive the progress and implementation of marketing plans.
8. Set clear objectives for business development, implement personal skill development, performance review trainings and other trainings.
9. Monitor and evaluate current initiated marketing activities and market dynamics.
10. Manage the internal operation of the department to ensure that the fixed assets and operational items of the department are well maintained.
11. Conduct regular market research and obtain information about competitors.
12. Set pricing strategies and sales targets for the hotel.
13. Manage special projects and other related businesses.
14. Ensure efficient use of departmental resources.
15. Manage human resources within the department, including selection of recruiters, training of department staff, team building, employee performance evaluation, etc.
16. Ensure that department staff are clear about the responsibilities assigned to them.
17. Take immediate corrective action when the interests of the department or hotel are jeopardized.
18. Manage customer relations and services, including customer needs, product and service knowledge, sales effectiveness, communication skills and customer feedback.
19. Manage departmental expenses and budgets.
20. Prepare a forecast of the department's monthly expenses and submit it to the hotel on the scheduled date.
21. Control departmental costs in accordance with hotel policies to avoid waste.
22. Ensure that all system related revenue data are accurate and in full compliance with Hilton international standards.
23. Ensure the filing of departmental documents and related information.
24. Maintain communication with all operating departments within the group to maximize sales opportunities.
25. Promote hotels in relevant industries at home and abroad.
26. Actively participate in sales activities initiated by Hilton.
27. Organize promotional trips for target markets.
28. Maintain good relationship and communication with target markets at home and abroad.
29. Ensure that all system related revenue data are accurate and in full compliance with Hilton international standards.
30. Respond to demands, adjust, and perform any reasonable tasks and additional responsibilities as directed by the hotel, industry and company.
31. Adhere to hotel safety policies, emergency rules and procedures.
32. Ensure employees fully understand and follow the contents of the employee handbook.

Qualifications
1. At least 5 years of relevant management experience in international hotel chains.
2. Able to formulate and implement operating budgets and business plans.
3. Able to effectively market and position the brand at desired levels.
4. Able to manage the Sales & Marketing department.
5. Able to assist the General Manager and Management in achieving the hotel's overall business objectives.
6. Knowledgeable of political, economic and social issues, and market trends.
7. Good communication, organizational and presentation skills.
8. Able to lead, guide and develop team members.
9. Knowledgeable of and able to deal with crisis.
10. Good knowledge of Maldives Market
