This iconic hotel features 1,628 guestrooms and 320,000 square feet of event space with stunning Pacific Ocean and city views. We are looking for the very best to join our AAA 4-Diamond Hotel, featured in the Top 10 of all Meeting Hotels in the United States per Cvent.
The Beverage Manager will oversee the banquet beverage area with a dotted line responsibilities to all beverage lounges/bar areas within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. This person should have knowledge of latest trends in the beverage industry and can provide and design specialty tastings and beverage immersion experiences for events. This person will assist with the banquet wine list as well as ordering and inventory control. The Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Candidates must possess proficient skills with computers and point of sales systems. A minimum of 2 years of food and beverage management experience in a high volume operation is preferred for this position. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.
The Salary range for the position is 70,600 - 106,000. This is the pay range for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
