We are seeking a skilled Food & Beverage Manager to assist leading our food & beverage operations with a focus on innovation, organization, customer service and cost control. The ideal candidate has worked for an international hotel chain, has experience in managing a team of at least 20 associates throughout multiple outlets and is knowledgeable with HACCP regulations.

Our hotel has 3 Food & Beverage outlets: the gourmet Ristorante Osteriva considered the best restaurant on Murano Island specialized on seafood & fish, the Laguna side must-go location, Rivalonga Caffè and the Spritz & Fizz Cocktail Bar. We also offer room service and banqueting facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a face of the F&B Operations team towards the guests and lead the food & beverage team by example providing courteous customer service.
• Oversee staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and supervision of employees and apprentices.
• Handle guest requests and respond promptly to complaints
• Ensure compliance with all HACCP and safety regulations.
• Coordinate budget planning for the food & beverage department and control a cost-efficient food & beverage structure
• Reforecast regularly the previsions and act accordingly
• Ensure effective collaboration with all relevant departments and participate in meetings and conference calls.

• Oversee the preparation of all dishes, as well as the cleanliness and organization of the assigned station.
• Maintain a professional and ethically sound relationship with colleagues, suppliers, and guests.
• Be proactive in teamwork and foster a collaborative environment.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP regulations (e.g., checking fridge temperatures, labeling prepared and unprepared food, sanitizing workstations, using products as per HACCP requirements, etc.).
• Monitor the correct use and maintenance of equipment and tools provide
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Attend and contribute to all training sessions and meetings as required.
• Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

• Ensure the delivery of brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.
• Provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
• Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
• Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships

  • Hotel operates the full year but with seasonal differences, having worked in a seasonal environment is a plus
  • English language skills, Good Italian skills are a plus but not mandatory
