The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest "ski beaches" in the world.

The Grand Hyatt is comprised of 436 luxury accommodations including 359 guest rooms, 55 residences and 22 suites with approximately 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, lobby level 3-meal restaurant and bar, signature bar, pool/après ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool and 3 whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area.

The General Manager of Hidden Ace oversees all food and beverage operations for the outlet as well as to collaborate with other Food and beverage outlets as needed based on business needs.

Duties Include:

• Responsible for short-and long-term planning at the outlet level.

• Develop and recommend the budget, concepts and objectives and manage within those approved plans

• Implement and maintain food & beverage sales/marketing programs for the outlet.

• Oversee development of employees.

• Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary reviews at the outlet level.

• Support payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for outlet operations

• Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service

• Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality

• Implement procedures to increase guest and employee satisfaction

• Exercise quality control for both food and beverage

• Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure their implementation

• Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards

• Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures.

Qualifications
• • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people

• • 2-4 years or more of progressive hotel F&B management experience (Smaller-Scaled preferred)

• • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

• • Proven leadership skills

• • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset

• • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line

• • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills

• • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

• • Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts
