Summary
This position works in a union environment and entails of greeting all visitors, employees and applicants while maintaining the day-to-day administrative function of a highly active Human Resources office. Responsibilities will include maintenance of incoming calls, walk-in inquiries, special projects, coordination of certain employee relations events, maintenance of the office environment, including administrative responsibilities such as bi-weekly payroll (Dimensions), HRIS entry (ADP Enterprise), reporting compliance, electronic filing, assisting with general benefit issues, opening requisitions and posting positions, and screening candidates, coordinating with appropriate hiring managers from selection to onboarding. At its core, this position will support the Director of Human Resources to ensure timely and efficient application of HR processes.
This is a full-time position with weekly hours expected to range from 32-40 hours (4-5 days) per week.
