Job Description For Leisure Sales Manager

Description

The Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within the leisure travel segment by building and managing strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, and key industry partners. This role focuses on proactively promoting the hotel's services and experiences while identifying new business opportunities to maximize room nights and overall revenue.

We are seeking a results-oriented sales professional with a passion for hospitality and proven ability to cultivate lasting client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and achieve leisure revenue targets.
Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, online travel agencies (OTAs), and wholesale partners.
Conduct regular client visits, property tours, and sales presentations to showcase the hotel's offerings and drive bookings.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both domestic and international leisure markets.
Represent the hotel at key industry trade shows, roadshows, and networking events to expand the hotel's market presence.
Negotiate rates, contracts, and packages with leisure accounts to secure individual and group bookings.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to create targeted promotions, packages, and seasonal offers that drive leisure segment growth.
Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and account management in the hotel's CRM system.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, business pipeline, and market trends.
Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies proactively.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
2 to 4 years of hotel sales experience, preferably within the leisure or travel trade segment.
Strong understanding of leisure distribution channels and the travel industry landscape.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel CRM/sales management systems (such as Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, or similar platforms).
