Description

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for ordering and assisting Purchasing Supervisor/Director on managing inventorying on a daily and weekly basis. They will also assist with month end inventories, receiving deliveries and shipping of packages. Duties also include daily tracking of all F&B credits, working with vendors, and Accounts Payable. This person must be able to lift a moderate to heavy weight and have basic communication skills. This person must be able to lift a moderate to heavy weight and have basic communication skills.

This is an hourly position with a compensation of $26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to consistently lift and carry moderate to heavy weight on a consistent basis throughout the workday.
  
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Experience with Birchstreet and TrackIT is preferred or experience with other inventory and package tracking systems
  
• Experience with the major couriers' shipping processes and procedures (FedEx, UPS, OnTrac, Amazon etc.) is desired
  
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, while maintaining outgoing, friendly attitude
  
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and to manage priorities
  
• Position requires a Saturday shift
