Description
This position will lead all aspects in the deployment and governance of a shared services solution consistent with our global shared services strategy and purpose. The Regional Process Manager will drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of process flows. This position will report to the RVP Shared Services EAME & ASPAC.
Position Responsibilities
• Lead smooth transition to the Shared Service Solution with minimal business disruption and maximum effectiveness and efficiency
• Identify unique customer needs, understand localizations, and modify systems and processes to meet these needs
• Negotiate system and process changes with multiples levels of management in order to arrive at solutions that strengthen professional relationship while meeting client and organization goals
• Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations
• Participate in the identification, selection, and assignment of project resources
• Ensure a good relationship with the BPO process owners
• Drive the development of standard processes and identification of gaps and remediation plans where certain activities are not consistent
• Implement identified strategies
• Identify and drive process enhancements to gain additional process efficiencies
• Coordinate with peer process managers, Regional SSC leads and SSC office in Chicago
• Travel to SSC delivery centres and properties as needed
Qualifications
• 3+ years of extensive knowledge of hotel finance tasks
• Self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and working under pressure
• Effective communicator with diplomatic skills, empathy, and sensitivity
• Team player who can influence and guide staff at all levels and manages with humility
• Positive "can do" attitude and flexible approach
• High degree of integrity
• Good negotiation and influencing skills
• Prior experience as an Assistant Director of Finance or Chief Accountant
• Strong attitude and aptitude for new technologies
• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
