The Role
The Rooms Trainer plays a key role in shaping the guest experience by developing and delivering high-quality training for the Rooms Division team. This includes Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, and Bell Services. The Rooms Trainer ensures that all colleagues are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to meet and exceed Hyatt brand standards.
Some of the key responsibilities:
• Work closely with the hotel training manager and Rooms division Manager, to address training needs, performance gaps and recommend solutions.
• Conduct on-the-job coaching and regular performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and tailor learning interventions accordingly.
• Facilitate onboarding and continuous training programs for rooms staff.
• Monitor guest feedback and recommend service improvements based on insights.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of operational experience in the Rooms Division (Front Office or Housekeeping preferred).
• Prior experience in training or team coaching.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest experience, and brand standards.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Passion for developing people and enhancing service quality.
