The Role
The Senior Manager of Financial Reporting will manage the preparation of monthly internal management reporting as well as quarterly and annual financial reporting, including but not limited to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statement, etc.), standalone audit reports, and census reporting. A successful candidate for this role will have strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage projects through to completion with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
•Review consolidated balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
•Manage internal reporting activities, including the monthly reporting package and related analysis
•Review consolidating and intercompany elimination journal entries and oversee maintenance of the chart of accounts
•Manage timelines for financial statement preparation and work collaboratively with partners and key stakeholders
•Review debt covenant calculations
•Oversee process improvements and strategize efficiencies in the Company's consolidation and reporting procedures
•Support the preparation and review of the quarterly earnings releases and related materials
•Review standalone entity financial statements and footnotes
•Review support to be provided to external auditors
•Supervise and provide direction to the team
•Participate in special projects and accounting research as needed
•Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt's core values
Qualifications
Experience Required:
•At least 8 years of experience in accounting and/or public accounting
•SEC and U.S. GAAP financial reporting experience is a plus
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience Preferred:
•Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
•Financial ERP / Reporting system knowledge (Hyperion preferred)
•Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

The salary range for this position is $108,000 to $150,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
