Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
** Starting rate: $23.00 per hour + potential commission
Spa Supervisors form a professional and operational partnership with spa management. This requires a comprehensive knowledge of all spa positions and their function, and includes furthering guest relations, managing payroll, scheduling, coordinating and booking large groups, promoting safety & sanitation, and other administrative duties. The ideal candidate would support staff development, addresses colleague interests, and plays an active role in achieving a positive work environment.
• Supervise the operations of the front desk and locker rooms to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests.
• Training, direct the work of, resolve concerns, and coaching & counseling.
• Resolve guest complaints in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and quality service.
• Courteously answers inquiries from potential group bookings, books said group, and acts as a point of contact for any group needs.
• Maintains strong guest relations by keeping up-to-date of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses in-person and on telephone.
• Operates the Book4time, Micros, and Dimensions.
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in spa, wellness, or hospitality operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of staff and guests in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer and booking software proficiency
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
• Open availability including weekends and holidays
• Ability to communicate in person and on telephone frequently.
• Ability to read written communiques and analyze/prepare reports.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; limited.
• Ability to push and pull a linen cart/beverage cart; limited.
• Ability to carry up to 25 lbs.; limited.
• Majority of the shift will be standing.
