Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985 and sits on 25 acres of land. The 4-Star Full-Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees Impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort.

Hourly Rate: $16.00

Position Overview:

The Steward is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware. This person must have good communication skills and have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight. This is a fast-paced position that will involve constant customer interaction.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Full and open availability, including weekends and holidays.

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using industrial dishwashing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and banquet areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles.

• Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the trash compactor on a daily basis, including removing trash bags, sanitizing the trash bins, and cleaning surfaces.

• Follow safety protocols and procedures when handling and disposing of kitchen waste, and cleaning chemicals.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient operations and a clean working environment
