Position Overview
The Training & Development Coordinator plays a vital role on our Human Resources team. This bilingual role (English and Spanish) develops and facilitates training programs that elevate our colleagues' service delivery, align with Forbes luxury standards, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

This position champions a culture of learning, safety, and service excellence by coordinating new hire onboarding, ongoing skills development, and compliance-related training. The coordinator collaborates closely with department leaders to ensure our team is engaged, prepared, and consistently providing outstanding guest experiences. The role reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development

• Design, deliver, and maintain engaging training programs that promote luxury service standards and operational consistency.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and recurring training sessions for colleagues in both English and Spanish.
• Deliver training content with energy and professionalism to inspire and connect with our diverse team.
• Develop and update training materials that reinforce regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and exceptional guest service.
• Maintain accurate training records and track completion to meet OSHA, Health Department, and company policy requirements.
• Partner with department leaders to provide job-specific training that supports consistent, high-level performance across all resort operations.

• Support the HR team in implementing and monitoring safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, Health Department, and other regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate required compliance training sessions on topics such as harassment prevention, food safety, emergency preparedness, and occupational health standards.
• Maintain and regularly audit training files and safety logs to ensure readiness for inspections or audits.
• Collaborate with managers to foster a proactive culture of safety awareness, risk prevention, and accountability.

• Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining training records, filing, and compliance reporting.
• Communicate policies, procedures, safety updates, and guest service standards clearly and effectively in both English and Spanish.
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives that support employee engagement, recognition, and a culture of service excellence.

• Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Hospitality, Training, or Occupational Safety preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in hospitality required; luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong customer service and presentation skills with an approachable and motivating presence.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, Health Department, and workplace safety regulations, or a willingness to learn.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including training materials or equipment.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends to meet training needs.
• Work is performed in both office and employee training settings.
