Job Description For Uniform/Laundry Attendant- Full-time| Year-round

The Role:
The Full-Time Laundry/Uniform Attendant is responsible for the cleaning, sorting, distribution, and maintenance of all resort linens and colleague uniforms. This behind-the-scenes role plays an essential part in upholding Hyatt's cleanliness and presentation standards, contributing directly to both guest satisfaction and colleague experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate washers, dryers, and finishing equipment according to established procedures
Sort, treat, and process linens and uniforms with attention to fabric type and care requirements
Inspect laundered items to ensure quality standards are met; identify and report any damage or excessive wear
Maintain proper records of uniform issuance, returns, and inventory levels
Organize and distribute clean uniforms to departments and colleagues
Ensure the laundry and uniform areas remain clean, stocked, and organized at all times
Respond promptly to colleague requests for uniform exchanges or alterations
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including handling of chemicals and heavy equipment
Assist with seasonal inventory and deep-cleaning tasks as needed

Qualifications

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in a hotel or resort environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Basic knowledge of laundering equipment and cleaning agents
Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
