DUTIES:
- Oversee day to day application development projects and software engineering for Marriott's Growth initiatives in Technology Integrations group.
- Lead and manage software engineers.
- Deliver on commitments to discipline partners and collaborates with architects on major organizational initiatives across multiple channels & platform.
- Function as the technical leader and problem solver to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Promote project quality and manage the application development team to promote satisfaction with all technology teams and business partners by following standard application development tools and processes.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement through metrics of quality consistency and client satisfaction.
- Works with application development service providers, IT teams, and business partners to implement continuous improvement activities.
- Responds to issues identified in project surveys or other feedback processes, to continually improve client satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or in a closely related field followed by 10 years of progressively responsible experience in application development. Experience must include:
- 7 years of technical experience within architecture, integration of backend systems and development.
- 5 years of experience with technologies: Java, NoSQL, Spring Boot and Webflux, Kafka, Docker, K8s.
- 4 years of experience with integration approaches and architectures, cloud-native solution and microservices-architecture.
- 4 years of experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, logging, metrics, monitoring, and tracing, LTM and GTM.
- 3 years of experience with API platforms, backend service integrations (specifically CRS, Loyalty and Profile management systems for the hospitality industry) and database.
Telework: 100% remote; position may be performed from anywhere in the US.
Travel: Up to 20% domestic and International
SALARY: $173,500 - $195,700 per year

The salary range for this position is $173,500 to $195,700 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
