Job Description For FLEX Manager, Advertising Platform Project Manager
As the FLEX Manager, Advertising Platform Project Manager, you will help shape Marriott's global advertising platforms (focused on the distributed Paid Media solutions of PLUS and AdBuilder) product strategy and technological framework. This role involves designing and implementing connectivity solutions to integrate our advertising technology with key marketing partners, creative solutions, and internal systems, ensuring a robust ad tech ecosystem. You will project manage the launch of a new creative automation tool, ensuring its seamless integration into existing marketing processes and platforms.
You will lead cross-departmental collaboration to support the successful launch of a new creative automation tool. Key responsibilities include supporting work from the discovery phase to implementation, coordinating platform deliverables from vendors, gathering technical requirements, managing feature prioritization, and defining success metrics. You will also facilitate cross-departmental meetings to keep stakeholders aligned on progress and milestones.
Education and Experience Required
- 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Business Management, Marketing, Technology, or a related field
- Four or more years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
- Strong project management skills with a record of on-time, on-budget project delivery
- Understanding of APIs, cloud services, and integration technologies
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in ad tech and digital advertising
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES - Lead end-to-end project management of a new creative automation tool, from discovery and planning through implementation and launch, ensuring alignment with the global advertising platform strategy.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts, including internal regional teams and external vendors, to manage deliverables, synthesize feedback, and align the product roadmap with business needs.
- Gather and document technical requirements, prioritize features, and define success metrics to ensure the tool meets stakeholder expectations and business goals.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication with stakeholders and team members, including regular cross-departmental updates on product progress.
- Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring technical compatibility, quality outputs, and seamless platform integrations.
- Create and manage testing schedules, define success metrics, and relay platform feedback to third-party vendors for continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including training and governance materials, to support adoption and consistent usage of the tool.
- Monitor industry trends and ad tech advancements, integrating relevant innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
The pay range for this position is $44.90 to $56.11 per hour.
