Job Description For FLEX Manager - Digital Product Intelligence and Experimentation
This is a temporary position.
The FLEX Manager, Digital Product Intelligence and Experimentation supports a team dedicated to delivering actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance customer experiences across Marriott's global digital platforms, including mobile apps, marriott.com, brand sites, hotel websites, and onsite touchpoints (e.g., mobile key, in-room television, chat). This role focuses on optimizing e-commerce conversion funnels and improving digital experiences, products, and features through testing and continuous improvement across the entire customer journey-from inspiration through the guest experience.
As a Digital Experimentation Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Digital Experimentation and Digital Product teams to optimize Marriott's owned digital channels, further company initiatives, attract more guests to hotels worldwide, and provide better online experiences for digital visitors. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is resourceful, eager to make an impact, and capable of thriving independently in a fast-paced environment, managing evolving challenges, ambiguity, and minimal supervision effectively. You excel in collaboration, skillfully bridging business requirements with the necessary insights and analytics to help the business achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analyses around consumer 'aha' moments and customer journeys (e.g., differentiating a visitor who doesn't book from a customer who books once or multiple times) to identify new testing opportunities.
- Analyze the value of consumer actions to better assess the impact of various A/B tests.
- Collaborate with product and experimentation teams to generate test ideas and bring consumer insights to life through new product features.
- Monitor tests for critical issues while they are live.
- Analyze experiment results based on test hypotheses and success metrics.
- Democratize data, insights, and learnings, leveraging them to generate future test ideas.
- Recommend which test variants to implement.
- Create self-service tools to provide quick feedback on less consequential tests that do not require deep-dive analyses.
Candidate Profile:Education and Experience Required: - 4-year degree from an accredited university in computer science, information technology, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, operations research, analytics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in statistical analysis, marketing analytics, or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with A/B testing concepts and an understanding of statistical methods related to study design and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with digital analytics tools, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and others, demonstrating an understanding of digital data analysis and its practical applications.
- Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to design and optimize queries and manage datasets effectively.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience, including querying and manipulating large datasets, structuring analyses independently, synthesizing complex information from multiple sources, creating stellar visualizations, and applying data modeling and statistical analysis techniques.
- Education and Experience Preferred:
- Advanced (Master's) degree in a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or other similar data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Experience manipulating large datasets in Python, R, or SAS is a strong plus.
Support Digital Channel Analytics: - Deliver on the needs of key stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Determine priorities, schedules, plans, and necessary resources to ensure project completion on schedule.
- Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to support business and initiative strategies.
- Communicate concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
- Demonstrate an understanding of business priorities.

The pay range for this position is $40.81 to $60.48 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
